Stuntman Jon Bielich began his career in the 1980’s doing stair falls in amusement parks like Frontier City (OKC) and Six Flags Over Texas before becoming a consultant for Universal Studios theme park. His screen credits include stunt performer/double in Twisters (2024), Tulsa King (2022), Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) and stunt coordinator in Reagan (2024) as well as Just the Janitor (2024), the award-winning short film featuring our very own PJ Sosko as the lead. (Janitor just won a trifecta of awards at Red Dirt Film Festival including best actor, best cinematographer and best film.)
Bielich gives us a view into a storied career that has included stunt driving, weapons specialization and performing an estimated 2500 stair falls. So when the director asks “Can you do that stair fall?”, the answer is a confident “How do you want it?”.
